Plot: It's been nearly two years since Superman's (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.

CRITICS:
An improvement over Man of Steel, and a much better Batman movie than it is a Superman film. The highlights far outweigh the issues, and DC now has a base on which it can build its empire. Full review

Batman v Superman lunges for greatness instead of building toward it: It's so topheavy with false portent that it buckles under its own weight. Full review

Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill clash in a bid to launch a new superhero franchise, but Zack Snyder’s shoddy adventure never gets off the ground. Full review

Batman V Superman is DC's Iron Man 2 - an okay movie that prioritizes shared universe setup over developing a coherent story and layered characters. Full review

OVERVIEW
This is movie in which DC clearly spent a ton of money making……. I mean BATMAN and SUPERMAN for Christ sake. Seeing the two of the world’s most famous and loved characters in stand-alone movies was great but together one would expect a mind blowing sight. Not long after the movie was released, did it started getting criticism. Few viewers thought it was amazing, some thought it was pretty good but most did in fact think that should be refunded as it was bulls**t. Of course this disappointment had no influence on the 872 million USD and rising box office earnings. If there is one thing I hands down respect DC for it’s their trailers for movies and series. I mean I stay online for hours (just kidding, minutes) checking out the different features of this movie, re-watched the trailers over and over again to build up excitement because it was that good. This advert even made one of my ENGINEERING lecturers casually mention the movie during class 😂😂😂. But seriously when it comes down to adverts DC has my respects, checkout that of Legends of tomorrow, Flash, Supergirl, Gotham etc.
WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED
1.      Conference bombing scene: We all saw in Superman returns (or was it a different one) when Superman went back in time by fly round the earth in reverse to its rotation to save Lois right. Why didn’t he use that in the scene of the conference bombing tho? He could have gone back in time and used his X ray vision to see who detonated the bomb and then stop it *smh.
2.      Saving his mother: He is freaking SUPERMAN, he is as fast as a bullet couldn’t he have like searched all the buildings in Metropolis to find his mother instead of being Lex’s servant. Also he always seemed to know when Lois was in trouble why not his mother whom he has been with all his life 😒😒
3.      The fight: During the fight between “man and god”, batman shoots him with an unexpected kryptonite grenade and he loses strength for a while giving Bruce the advantage. But later in the fight when superman regains full strength, batman then shoots him again, even I a normal man would try to dodge that not just fly right into it. Seriously watch that scene again, he literally flew into it, for a man faster than a speeding bullet he is very stupid. Also when he got his strength back instead of throwing him through walls why not simply snap his neck, he is a freaking human being. Throwing him throw walls didn’t have any effect because he wore an all metal suit soooooo.
4.     Boss battle: During the final fight with doomsday superman flies holding a kryptonite staff(which weakened him) straight to doomsday, my question is why did HE have to do it, wonder woman was perfectly capable of doing so…..she’s pretty badass.
5.     Martha!!!: So after all these years that’s the great batman’s weakness. He’s a mama’s boy. You’re in a fight with someone and then he says your mothers name does that grant him instant freedom 😒😒😒 . I should try that someday.
Extra: Flash cameo: Barry Allen’s appearance according to online sources has been explained. From what flash was saying “you were right, fear him, fear him”, it means that I the first installment of the Justice league movie, Superman is going to come back from the dead as evil, therefore making the remaining six members fight him. When he also said “It’s Lois, Lois is the key” it means all this true love blah blah blah, would bring him back to his right senses. He then asked “Am I too early?” meaning this message was for after superman had supposedly died.
