PLOT
The first in a planned series of shows detailing the Marvel universe, "Daredevil" follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil to fight crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. While Murdock's day job requires him to believe in the criminal justice system, his alter ego does not follow suit, leading him to take the law into his own hands to protect his Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities.
OVERVIEW
Of the many people that I know who watch Daredevil, only few said they actually enjoyed the show from S01E01. Others on the contrary, hated the first 5-6 episodes but absolutely loved the remaining 7 or so. I fall under the latter. The first 5 episodes just focused on the crime lords in Hell's Kitchen and Matt as a poorly disguise vigilante often fighting some petty criminals and street thugs. Those episodes also weirdly centered around Fisk's love life..........who gives a shit about that😐.
The remaining episodes on the other hand show Matt kicking some serious shit out of the agents sent by the crime lords.😎😎
It was revealed later on that he indeed could see but only in flames, in the sense that he see everything with flames around them. Normally, superheroes are envied by viewers but honestly I don't envy this guy. Not being able to see normally but has a better auditory reception, can fight, climb and jump across buildings........no thanks, I love my eyes the way they are. 😐😑
Honestly I still have trouble finishing season 2, because I get distracted by other shows sometimes but all in all its a good show.
